Aluminum Can Recycling Recycle your aluminum cans with the Lions Club and you will help raise funds for our many projects including the Wyoming Youth Activity Program, park benches, eyeglasses and fighting preventable blindness.
Just drop your aluminum cans off at the shed located on the lot next to Casey's.
Pancakes in the Park Every year during the Stark County Scenic Drive held the third weekend in September, the Wyoming Lions Club brings our famous pancakes to Thomas Park on Sunday. We convert one of the shelters into a screened in dining area and serve up some delicious pancakes and sausage. Stop by and support the many projects of the Wyoming Lions Club.
Candy Day On the second Friday and Saturday each October, you'll find the Wyoming Lions in the street at the main intersection in Wyoming. We are there to give you rolls of candy to thank you for all of your support. We of course welcome donations and all money raised is used for eyesight related programs.
Flower Day The Wyoming Lions Club delivers flowers each year on the Saturday before Mothers Day. You can't get a better deal than purchasing your flowers from the Wyoming Lions Club and helping raise funds for some of the great projects that the Lions support in the community.
Campaign SightFirst II
It's a stark fact. By the time you finish reading this page, one child somewhere in the world will have gone blind. One goes blind every minute. Half-a-million will have lost their sight by the end of the year.
Childhood blindness is only one part of the global vision crisis. If nothing is done, experts say that the world's blind population could double from 37 million to 74 million by 2020.
But Lions will not allow "nothing to be done." True to their commitment to be "knights of the blind," Lions have launched Campaign SightFirst II to prevent this tragedy. CSFII has set out to raise at least US$150 million to continue and expand the extraordinary work of SightFirst, Lions' worldwide program to combat preventable blindness.
Please consider making a donation of just $12 (saving 2 people from preventable blindness). Donations may be mailed to Wyoming Lions Club, CSFII, c/o 206 E Franklin St, Wyoming IL 61491
